The weather was cool this morning and the tide was higher due to the full moon. We fished at one of our favorite Rockport Fishing Spots near Mud Island. The redfish were there and shrimp was the bait of choice. We free lined both dead and live shrimp. The redfish were a mix of lower-slot fish and a few smaller fish plus a few black drum. Patience is the secret when fishing in cooler water, Let the fish take the bait for a few seconds before you set the hook.
