We had another great day on the bays around Rockport, Texas today. The fish were actively feeding on mullet and white shrimp. as the tide moved the bait out of the back lake through a small channel along San Jose Island, the fished pushed the shrimp and baitfish to the surface. a cast to that location with a Corky Mirro-Dine XL or a Berkley 4 ” Gulp resulted in a immediate strike and a singing drag. We enjoyed a couple of hours of memorable fishing until the tide slowed and stop moving. Give me a call and enjoy some winter fishing in the bays around Rockport, Texas.
